In terms of future development, the Chitose-Karasuyama Station South Plaza Urban Redevelopment Project is currently underway on the south side of Chitose-Karasuyama Station. A mixed-use complex approximately 140 meters tall with 34 floors is planned, with urban planning approval targeted for fiscal year 2026 and completion aimed for fiscal year 2034. This project is expected to further enhance the ward’s convenience and overall attractiveness.
