Rental Apartments near Fudō-mae station
Fudo-mae Station on the Tokyu Meguro Line is one stop, about 2 minutes, from Meguro, and through-service onto the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line and the Toei Mita Line means direct access to Nagatacho and smooth travel to Otemachi and the other business districts. Meguro Fudoson (Ryusenji), the temple the station is named after, is one of the five Goshiki Fudo temples of old Edo; its grounds are wrapped in greenery and offer a quiet place to experience Japanese temple culture. In spring, the roughly 100 cherry trees along Kamuro-zaka form a tunnel of blossom that has become a local attraction. The surrounding streets form a quiet, hilly residential district where rents are relatively lower than in neighbouring Meguro and Nakameguro. Supermarkets and drugstores near the station make it comfortable for singles and families alike. You can also walk down to the Meguro River and, in cherry blossom season, continue all the way toward Nakameguro.
